SG Ochai Agbaji — Utah Jazz

The best player on the Kansas basketball team that won it all in 2022, Agbaji had an up-and-down rookie season. Cleveland selected him 14th overall before trading him to the Jazz, but he did not find a groove until later in the year. He was often a coach’s decision DNP due to his inefficient shooting.

However, Agbaji ended the year strong as the Jazz fought off injuries and slowly fell out of playoff contention. He averaged 13.7 points and 2.6 across the team’s final 23 games. Although he must become a better decision-maker, the talent is clearly there with the former collegiate superstar.

Utah and Agbaji open their season tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. CT against the Sacramento Kings.
