PF Marcus Morris — Los Angeles Clippers

Entering Year 13, Marcus Morris (or Mc. Morris if you refer to them by the name on their KU jersey) still serves in a considerable role with one of the more talented teams in the conference. He is a knockdown 3-point shooter and the perfect veteran gritty guy to have on a roster.

The emergence of Terance Mann has eliminated him from the starting lineup, which would delegate him to his first full-time bench role since 2013-14. However, Los Angeles did try to trade him during the offseason, so perhaps they will offload him to a team that he could make a larger impact on.

He averaged 11.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 65 games last year. Unfortunately, he is dealing with a groin injury and could miss the team’s first few contests.

LA opens their season at 9:30 p.m. CT tomorrow against the Portland Trail Blazers, with “Mook’s” status deemed questionable at the moment.
