SF Gradey Dick — Toronto Raptors

Kansas basketball freshman phenom Gradey Dick was taken 13th in this year’s NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. The 6-foot-8 sharpshooter earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors in his one-and-done year and impressed scouts with his length and silky smooth jump shot, making him a clear-cut lottery selection.

He flourished in his four NBA Preseason appearances, averaging 7.3 points per game and knocking down 46.7% of his 3-point attempts. Although Dick might struggle to find immediate minutes in a crowded Toronto backcourt, he figures to see plenty of playing time as the season progresses.

Toronto’s season begins with a showdown against the Minnesota Timberwolves tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. CT.
