SF Svi Mykhailiuk — Boston Celtics

Mykhailiuk looked to be a candidate to go overseas after a few down years in the league. However, he showed out with the Charlotte Hornets in the latter stages of the 2022-23 season, which caught the eye of several NBA teams.

He eventually wound up with the Celtics before the year began and was extremely impressive in the preseason. Mykhailiuk averaged 12.0 points and 3.0 rebounds on 44.4% 3-point shooting in 17.9 minutes per game across four contests.

As deep as Boston’s roster is, they don’t have much depth at the wing. He could very well overtake Sam Hauser’s spot during the season if his shooting prowess continues.

The Celtics and Mykhailiuk are set to enter the Mecca of Basketball against the Knicks tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. CT.
