SF Jalen Wilson — Brooklyn Nets

The former Kansas basketball star was selected 51st overall in the draft. Although Wilson looked poised to open the season in the NBA G League, Brooklyn awarded this year’s Consensus First-Team All-American with a two-way contract after a strong Summer League showing.

His success in college might not have translated to NBA scouts thinking highly of him, but he has proven doubters wrong time and time again. He will need to work hard to overtake the roles of players on the talented Brooklyn frontcourt.

Wilson and the Nets open their NBA season against the Cleveland Cavaliers tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. CT.
