Amier Ali: SF, Canyon International Academy

At 6-foot-8, the IMG Academy star offers considerable height as a small forward. He has a beautiful jump shot stroke but also possesses the length and lateral quickness to be a terrific defender. He is slightly more athletically gifted than Tucker but not as college-ready. As he continues to build muscle, Ali could legitimately be a starter at Kansas by year two.

Ali is another lengthy wing that could compete for minutes at the 3-spot for Kansas. He thinks that Coach Self has the best chance of making him NBA-ready, citing what he did with Gradey Dick. Considering he has only taken official visits to one of his finalists, there is still some time for the Jayhawks to jump on Ali.
