Kansas Football Game 7 at Oklahoma State

A roller coaster for the ages for Kansas football. This was one of the most entertaining games KU has played in a while, but it didn’t end very well.

Kansas came into the matchup with Oklahoma State at 5-1 and ranked No. 23 in the country. Jason Bean started at quarterback again, with Daniels still being held out for the third consecutive game. Bean was terrific for three quarters of this game, racking up over 400 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Then came the implosion for the Kansas Jayhawks. The 4th quarter was full of mistakes and non-execution on both sides of the ball. There were multiple missed tackles and bad angles taken on defense and interceptions and fumbles on offense. Bean made two critical turnovers that really let Oklahoma State off the hook and allowed them to gain momentum.

I predicted Kansas football to lose 31-23 against Oklahoma State in the preseason. Kansas lost 39-32 against the Cowboys.

My Prediction: 31-23, Oklahoma State wins
Actual Score: 39-32, Oklahoma State wins
