Kansas Football Game 3 at Nevada Wolf Pack

This was not the greatest of games by Kansas football. Nevada is probably the worst FBS team in the country this year, and this game was a lot closer than it should have been.

If you didn’t watch the game and just looked at the box score, you might be a little discouraged by the result. Kansas forced five (!!!) fumbles in this game and recovered exactly zero of them. It was probably one of the wackiest games I’ve seen Kansas football play in the Leipold era.

There were a lot of factors that went into why this game was even close. Kansas had to travel to the Pacific time zone to play a game that started at 9:00 central time. The stadium was empty, and there was zero energy in the stadium. It was a culmination of those factors that led to the game being tight in the 4th quarter.

I predicted a 45-17 Kansas football win, but it’s safe to say I was way off on this one. Kansas ended up winning 31-24 over the Wolf Pack.

My Prediction: 45-17, Kansas wins
Actual Score: 31-24, Kansas wins
