Point Guard: Dajuan Harris

Harris will be quarterbacking the offense of one of the best teams in the nation. The 2022-23 Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year awardee has taken strides in each of his seasons at KU, vastly improving his outside shooting and leadership as a third-year.

He averaged 8.9 points, 6.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.2 steals across 36 contests last season. His durability is a major asset to the Jayhawks, as he has yet to miss a game since he redshirted in 2019-20. Overall, he’s arguably the most complete point guard in the Big 12 Conference.

No player could come close to threatening Harris’ job as the starter. There will be nights where he doesn’t get subbed out at all. The Missouri native continues to have high hopes as Bill Self’s most reliable player and one of the best playmakers in the nation.
