2. Kansas football essentially locked up bowl eligibility

For the second season in a row, Kansas has opened with a 5-1 record. Barring another collapse in the latter stages, we should be watching the Jayhawk football program competing in a bowl game again.

The next game will be played against Oklahoma State, who recently upset K-State for their first Big 12 win. Even if KU cannot pull away in that one, there are still winnable contests against Texas Tech, Iowa State, Cincinnati, and potentially even the Wildcats if they can’t figure it out soon. Let’s hope they can clinch it next week.
