Oklahoma Sooners (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) at Texas Longhorns (5-0, 2-0 Big 12)

The final Red River Showdown in the Big 12 is here. Oklahoma and Texas steadily remain as the top dogs in the conference before they move to the SEC next year. Steve Sarkisian’s Longhorns have dominated every team they’ve faced, even Nick Saban and Alabama on their home field. Meanwhile, Oklahoma has played some terrific defense and also remains undefeated.

We have seen some exorbitantly high scores between these two schools in the past, minus UT’s 49-point slaughtering last season. I think it will be a back-and-forth between two high-octane offenses, even though both schools have some of the best defenses in their program’s recent history. I’m hoping this game can be one for the history books, and I have Texas coming out victorious in a tight shootout.

Game Prediction: 43-35, Texas
