Kansas football: 5 predictions for the Jayhawks showdown vs. UCF Knights

3. Tre’mon Morris-Brash records 2+ sacks

On an otherwise mediocre UCF defensive line, Tre’Mon Morris-Brash is one of the most dominant outside linebackers in the Big 12. He leads the league in sacks (5) and tackles for loss (12) through five games, and he’s making a case to hear his name called in the NFL Draft this spring.

Kansas’ offensive line has surrendered the least amount of sacks in the Big 12 since the start of last season. However, right tackle Bryce Cabeldue will be assigned to cover Morris-Brash, not KU’s best lineman, Dominick Puni. There could definitely be a few missed blocks against the speedy edge rusher.

I predict him to record two or more sacks in the contest, which he already did last week against Baylor. A strong performance from Morris-Brash could make or break UCF’s chances to beat Kansas football.
