1. Devin Neal amasses a season-high in rushing yards

Devin Neal is well on his way to a career season with the Kansas football program. He has totaled 594 yards from scrimmage and six touchdowns despite being banged up. His 439 rushing yards rank fifth overall in the Big 12.

In a game where star quarterback Jalon Daniels is not expected to suit up, offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki could shift nearly all his attention to KU’s rushing attack. That will give Neal a chance to surpass his 2023 season-high in yardage, which was 120 yards vs. Illinois. Keep in mind that was on just ten carries, so an increased workload for Neal could see him post huge statistics.

Last year, Neal had a tremendous showing against Oklahoma State when he posted 224 yards on the ground and 110 through the air. While numbers like that will be difficult to reciprocate, UCF has the worst rushing defense that Kansas will play against this season. Now is the time for him to have yet another career day.
