2. KU’s 2024 class is still shaping up to be an excellent one
KU might not put together a top-three class, but they’ll still assemble one of the best in the nation. They’ve already received pledges from Flory Bidunga, the No. 1 center in 2024, and Labaron Philon, a consensus top-30 player.
The 2024-25 team will feature returnees such as Dajuan Harris and KJ Adams, with Hunter Dickinson’s status still remaining uncertain. With or without Flagg, KU would be considered a favorite to win the national championship next year. After all, Self likes to use experienced guys more than one-and-done players.
Just because they didn’t get Flagg doesn’t mean the coaching staff will give up. With Early Signing Day still more than a month away, Self and Co. have plenty of time to get on top of other recruitments.
