Kansas basketball appears to be out of the race for Cooper Flagg after he canceled his official visit to Late Night in the Phog. These are three reasons Jayhawks fans shouldn’t panic.

The Kansas Jayhawks were considered close seconds in the race for ballyhooed prospect Cooper Flagg. Now, the chances of him being a Jayhawk seem to be little to none. He canceled his trip to KU this Friday and doesn’t have any plans to schedule a new one.

Two No. 1 overall recruits have committed to Kansas under Bill Self — Andrew Wiggins and Josh Jackson. Unfortunately, Flagg won’t be the third. However, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about the upcoming recruiting class and the outlook of next year’s roster.

These are three reasons why missing out on Cooper Flagg will not hurt Kansas basketball.
