2. Cooper Flagg being the star of the show during Late Night in the Phog
Late Night is best known for its fun activities with students and the guest performer, but all eyes will be on generational prospect Cooper Flagg during the festivities. He is the only expected visitor on campus for the unofficial beginning of the Kansas basketball season.
The KU coaching staff is pulling out all the stops to land one of the most highly touted high schoolers in recent history. They recently traveled to watch him practice at Montverde Academy, along with his teammate and fellow recruiting target Liam McNeeley.
Duke is considered a slight favorite over Kansas in his recruitment, though the Jayhawks have gained some traction over the past couple of months. Showing Flagg a good time this weekend will be paramount. He would arguably be the best recruiting addition to Kansas basketball under Bill Self.
