1. Rakease Passmore’s official visit (and potential commitment)

Rakease Passmore emerged as a leading target for Kansas basketball last week. Bill Self went to visit him at Combine Academy and loved what he saw. Subsequently, after the two met, Passmore canceled his official visit to Arkansas and replaced it with one to Kansas.

The No. 44 player in the 247 Sports Composite rankings, Passmore is one of the most versatile wing talents in his class. He holds tremendous athleticism and can shoot it well from beyond the arc. The real potential that lies within him is on the defensive end, and he continues to make a name for himself on one of the nation’s best high school teams.

Some sources indicate that a commitment could come as early as his visit to KU’s campus concludes. Everyone should be looking out for news regarding Passmore’s stance with the Jayhawks.
