5 reasons for Jayhawks fans not to be worried after the Kansas football loss to Texas
2. Texas is the toughest opponent on KU’s schedule
Texas has arguably the most talented roster at the FBS level. There is not a single position group with a hole on their team. When you match up Kansas — a team primarily made up of former two and 3-star recruits — against some of the most highly touted players in the country, the talent gap figures to be sizeable.
The Big 12 isn’t as strong as usual this year, but Texas is going out of the conference with a bang. In all likelihood, they’ll make the Big 12 Championship and potentially the College Football Playoff in 2023. There is no reason to be ashamed about losing to a team like this on the road.
