5. Quinn Ewers throws his first interception of the season

Texas’ QB1, Quinn Ewers, has had a tremendous sophomore year. He’s thrown for 1,033 yards and 9 touchdowns on a 64.3% completion percentage. However, a number that has stood out the most is that he has yet to throw an interception.

I think that’s going to change this week. Even if KU’s defense has had its hardships, they have forced 2+ interceptions in three of their four games played. The Jayhawk defense has several playmakers who can change the game at any second — we saw that last week with Cobee Bryant.

Ewers also has a tendency to take several deep shots a game. If he makes a few inaccurate passes down the field, KU defenders will be right there to record the first interception of his 2023 season.
