2. Ja’Tavion Sanders records 100+ receiving yards and 2+ touchdowns

It’s no secret that the Kansas football defense has endured its fair share of struggles. However, the linebacker’s core has really faltered this season. BYU tight end Isaac Rex was catching passes left and right last week, recording a 7-76 receiving line.

Craig Young will be tasked with guarding Longhorn tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders, who is widely considered the second-best at his position in the upcoming draft class. He is coming off a 5-catch, 110-yard performance against Baylor and also eclipsed the century mark against Alabama.

Unless Kansas cleans up its defense against tight ends, Sanders is going to have a field day on his home turf. In what should be a high-scoring game on both sides, I expect him to be the beneficiary of some poor defense being played.
