1. KU loses by no more than 10 points

The line set for this game is 17 points in Texas’ favor, but I expect it to wind up much closer than that. Kansas has been competitive in each of its games this season, and they have the offense to keep up with the high-octane Longhorns.

When KU faced Texas in Lawrence last season, they lost by 41 points. However, most of the damage was done by Bijan Robinson, the first running back taken in the draft this year. He carried the ball 25 times for 243 yards and 4 touchdowns. While Jonathon Brooks has enjoyed some success this season, he’s not nearly the player Robinson was.

If the Jayhawk D-line can continue its improvement this week, Kansas has a fair chance to win this game. It is also imperative that the offense does not make any major mistakes. While none of KU’s opponents so far had the talent UT possesses, I’m confident that the offense can keep them in the game.
