Kansas Jayhawks (4-0, 1-0 Big 12) at Texas Longhorns (4-0, 1-0 Big 12)

We’ve been covering KU’s upcoming game against Texas this whole week here on Through the Phog, but we’ll do a quick preview of it anyway. Two of the three remaining undefeated teams square off in what should be a high-scoring affair between some of the best offenses in the country.

The last time the Jayhawks traveled to Austin, they won a 57-56 thriller to stun everyone in the stadium. This time, though, Kansas could establish itself as a premier team in the country with a win — the stakes are much higher on Saturday,

Texas has all the momentum in this game after defeating Alabama on the road two weeks prior and the looming Red River Showdown following this week. However, Kansas and Lance Leipold should not be discounted. If the Longhorns look past KU, they’ll be in for a rude awakening, but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt to the biggest, faster, and stronger Longhorn roster.

Game Prediction: 45-34, Texas
