Kansas basketball: 3 things to love about Labaron Philon’s game
Labaron Philon is the most recent player to commit to Kansas basketball. We love these three things about the Alabama native’s game.
Kansas Jayhawks head coach Bill Self has done it yet again on the recruiting trail. A week after missing on top-10 recruit Jalil Bethea, he pulled magic out of his back pocket and secured a commitment from Labaron Philon on his official visit over the weekend.
It was a much-needed addition to pair with KU’s other Class of 2024 pledge, the No. 1 center in his graduating year, Flory Bidunga. Even with Ole Miss supposedly leading in the race for Philon, he felt that the Jayhawks were the right choice for his collegiate career.
When watching Philon’s game, there’s a lot to like. He could be one of the next premier Kansas basketball guards. But these three components in particular will make the Jayhawk faithful really excited to watch him next season.
