February 3: Houston at Kansas Basketball
Houston, the most coveted basketball school among the new additions, takes on KU to open up their February. They are expected to play in Mexico City during the 2024-25 season on a neutral site.
February 5: Kansas Basketball at Kansas State
Two days after one of the most challenging games on the schedule, KU has to travel to Bramlage Coliseum against a hostile K-State crowd. Pretty poor schedule-making for one of the biggest rivalries in the conference, if you ask me.
February 10: Baylor at Kansas Basketball
Another challenge will come against Baylor at Allen Fieldhouse. KU had one of the most tremendous comebacks ever when they took on BU last season.
February 12: Kansas Basketball at Texas Tech
Kansas will play a Texas school two days after Baylor, but it’ll be Texas Tech the next time out. We’ll see how everything goes down in Lubbock with their new coaching situation.
February 17: Kansas Basketball at Oklahoma
KU takes on Oklahoma for a second time in the two school’s final meetings as a member of the Big 12 Conference. Well, maybe not. Just look at Colorado.
February 24: Texas at Kansas Basketball
After a week-long break, KU gets back into the thick of things against UT. Like Oklahoma, it will be the final contest against each other with Texas in the conference. Let’s hope the ‘Hawks can give them a harsh sendoff to the SEC.
February 27: BYU at Kansas Basketball
The Jayhawks finish their February against the BYU Cougars. It is the only game of the month not aired on ESPN, rather on ESPN+.
