Texas Tech Red Raiders at Kansas Football (Nov. 11)

People tabbed Texas Tech as the Big 12 sleeper coming into the season. Now, it looks like even bowl eligibility will be hard to come by for second-year head coach Joey McGuire.

The Red Raiders received a crushing blow in learning signal caller Tyler Shough would be out for 6-8 weeks with a broken fibula sustained against West Virginia. There is a chance that he is shut down for the season, and sophomore Berhen Morton will take over under center. Not only will that negatively impact them, but it could hurt the run game with Tahj Brooks without as significant of a passing threat.

Although all of the games TTU has lost have been close, their season could become a lost cause if they don’t wind up winning a few games leading up to this matchup. Many things can change in the next month and a half, but KU should be able to outscore them.
