Kansas football: Confidence meter for remaining Jayhawks Big 12 games
Kansas Football at Iowa State Cyclones (Nov. 4)
While Iowa State has not looked too impressive yet, their defense is still one of the best in the conference. Going into Ames and beating the Cyclones is never an easy task, especially if their offense can get it going.
True freshman quarterback Rocco Becht has done a serviceable job, and ISU looks to be headed in the right direction following their win against Oklahoma State. Their defense ranks in the top 25 in the nation and could keep them in the game against Kansas.
By no means is Iowa State a better team than KU. However, I could totally see them winning a scrappy, low-scoring game if the Jayhawks perform like they did last season against them. I’d like to think that in the new era of Kansas football this is a fairly comfortable win, but I’m not too sure yet.
