Kansas Football at Texas Longhorns (Sept. 30)

Kansas has plenty of hype heading into this upcoming week. They are undefeated and opened conference play with a bang. However, Texas is the first true test Lance Leipold and Co. will receive.

The Jayhawks will take on Quinn Ewers and formidable receiving threats in Ja’Tavion Sanders and Xavier Worthy. Texas is ranked No. 3 in the nation and arguably has the most talented roster in the nation from top to bottom.

Everyone always likes to mention KU’s historic win in Austin two years ago, but what is not mentioned is the drubbing that UT put on them a year ago. Although Bijan Robinson is no longer in Austin, traveling to Austin against a team that beat Alabama on the road doesn’t sound appealing to me. I think that KU’s offense will put up a fight, but the defense will stand no match, leading to the first Jayhawk loss of the season.
