Kansas football: 5 predictions for the Jayhawks meeting against the BYU Cougars
4. The D-line makes significant improvements from last game
KU’s defensive line looked explosive against Illinois. They totaled six sacks and forced pressure onto Luke Altmyer on just about every passing down. Against Nevada, however, the unit vastly struggled. My prediction is that they’ll turn it around this weekend.
With Austin Booker back for an entire contest (he missed the first half vs. Nevada for a targeting call), the D-line will be at full strength tomorrow. Their sack number should climb from last week’s total of two. Additionally, a weak BYU rushing offense provides them with a less formidable group to recoup from their struggles.
