4 reasons why Deion Sanders and Colorado vs. Kansas football will be a thrilling matchup in 2024

3. The proximity of both schools could result in fierce recruiting battles

Running back Dylan Edwards packs a lot of punch in his small stature. The freshman phenom is the starting running back for Deion Sanders, but he once took an official visit to Kansas and was even committed to K-State for a short period of time.

Although Coach Prime usually has priority over anyone in recruiting battles, we could see some players deciding between Kansas and Colorado. Considering they will see each other in conference play, it’s vital for KU to steal some players from the Buffaloes.
