Philon is one of the best point guards in his class. At 6-foot-4, 180 lbs, the Alabama native has been a prolific scorer throughout his college career. He can score on the move or as a jump shooter.

He initially pledged to Bruce Pearl and Auburn before backing out of his commitment shortly after. The Link Academy guard is down to Alabama, Cincinnati, Ole Miss, and Kansas, though the Rebels are leading the race.

With his official visit set to begin tomorrow, Kansas basketball could strengthen its standing with a strong official visit. He’ll be in town for the BYU game, so he could get a glimpse of the fans that could be cheering for him if he becomes a Jayhawk.
