5 potential recruiting targets for Kansas basketball after missing on Jalil Bethea
Cooper Flagg
Flagg is a generational prospect who will likely dominate the collegiate level despite being a year behind. He is considering Duke, UConn, and Kansas, with Duke steadily in the lead to land him.
A teammate of McNeeley’s, Flagg can do it all on the court. He has a freakishly long wingspan and can stroke it from deep efficiently. His athleticism is off the charts for a 16-year-old, and he has been dominating the EYBL circuit since his freshman year.
He is expected to take his official visit to Kansas during Late Night in the Phog. If Bill Self were to somehow pull off a Flagg commitment, he’d join the likes of Andrew Wiggins and Josh Jackson as the most highly touted high school recruit to ever commit to the Jayhawks.
