Liam McNeeley

McNeeley recently cut his list of schools to two, and he’ll be choosing between Indiana and Kansas basketball. He would be the big wing pickup for KU if he does decide to become a Jayhawk.

The Montverde Academy star — who visited KU’s campus with high school teammate Derik Queen — is one of the best pure shooters in his class. At 6-foot-7, McNeeley is capable of running the floor or playing off the ball. His passing ability is vastly underrated.

While the Hoosiers maintain the lead in his recruitment, it’s encouraging to see him choosing between two options. He isn’t going the typical route of a high school recruit and adding three or four filler schools to his list. If he had already decided on IU, he would have committed already.
