5. Force defensive pressure on the quarterback

In the team’s win against Illinois, KU sacked Luke Altmyer six times. It was something Jayhawk fans were not used to seeing — limiting the pocket presence of the opposing quarterback. However, we didn’t see much of that versus Nevada.

Jereme Robinson leads the team in sacks with 3, and Austin Booker will play a full game after missing last week’s first half due to a targeting call against Illinois. The much-improved Kansas D-line has a chance to do some serious damage this week.

Forcing Kedon Slovis to rush some throws will go a long way for Kansas. He is extremely mistake-prone and is bound to have an off game.
