Kansas Football Key Player No. 2: Quentin Skinner

The No. 3 receiver on the Kansas depth chart has impressed through his first two games. Skinner has eclipsed the century mark in receiving yards and will line up against a weak Nevada secondary.

One reason I think Skinner will have a big game tonight is because of his speed. He is the fastest receiver on the team and arguably the whole offense. Nevada’s defense simply does not have the level of talent that Kansas possesses, and Skinner could benefit from it.

We could see him break a few big catches and runs if he gets into open space. If the ball is in his hands, Skinner is as dangerous as anybody else on the team.
