Kansas Football Linebackers

The Kansas football linebacker group is considered the biggest defensive strength of the team. Rich Miller is one of the top returning players from last year’s team. He mans the middle linebacker position and can be used as a spy or to defend the run.

Craig Young functions at the Kansas football exclusive ‘Hawk’ position. He is capable of just about anything on the gridiron. Young is likely the fastest player on defense and often guards running backs or tight ends on passing plays.

Although Miller and Young were the leaders of this unit heading into the season, JB Brown has stepped up in a massive way throughout the first two contests. The Bowling Green transfer has slowly but surely swiped Taiwan Berryhill of his starting linebacker title. Brown has 10 tackles (3 for loss) and a couple of pass breakups thus far.
