Kansas Football Running Backs

Devin Neal leads the Big 12 in yards per carry and ranks third in rushing yards. The Lawrence native is as elusive as they come and has a good shot to reach the 1,000-yard plateau again.

Despite fumbling on his second carry of the season opener, Daniel Hishaw reclaimed his role as Kansas football’s 1B running back. His powerful running style complements Neal’s game perfectly, and they are one of the best tailback tandems in the country.

Dylan McDuffie is the third-string back and has primarily been used in short-yardage situations. With the injury history of Neal and Hishaw, fans should feel good knowing they have a former 1,000-yard rusher on the roster.

Sevion Morrison has been utilized sparingly but has big-play potential and respectable receiving skills.
