Kansas Football Quarterbacks

Jalon Daniels missed KU’s Week 1 contest, but there is no question who the starter is at quarterback. He is the undisputed face of Kansas football and should continue to impress.

Jason Bean saw limited action against Illinois but will see increased reps against the lowly Wolf Pack of Nevada. If anything, we know that Bean is a more than capable backup to Daniels if he is forced to miss time. He has also been used in offensive sets as a running back or wide receiver.

Walk-on freshman Cole Ballard practiced his handoffs vs. Missouri State, but he’s not expected to make an impact until next year at the earliest.
