Week 2 of college football is in the books. We assembled a power ranking for each Big 12 football team heading into next Saturday’s slate of games.

Big 12 schools struggled greatly in the first full week of college football. The conference went 10-4, including teams that were favored heavily, such as Baylor and last year’s title runner-up, TCU.

Once again in Week 2, the Big 12 went 10-4. However, there were some more favorable outcomes this week. Texas took down No. 3 Alabama in Tuscaloosa, and multiple schools racked up massive road victories.

There is not much parity in the Big 12 Conference right now. There seem to be only two or three teams in the running to win the league. However, the conference has some sleeper teams that could go far this season.

Our rankings are still volatile with how early it is in the year, but we used strength of schedule (SOS) and each team’s first two performances as a decider of where they landed on the list.

These are our Big 12 Football Power Rankings following the conclusion of CFB Week 2.
