3. Jalon Daniels is just as electric as he was last year

Surprise, surprise! Jalon Daniels is still amazing at football. Don’t expect that to change anytime soon. He looked as good as ever last night vs. Illinois, throwing for 277 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 21-of-29 passing.

Jason Bean did just fine filling in during the season opener, but Daniels is on a different level than most other guys. You look away from the screen for one second, and there’s a little 6-foot quarterback breaking tackles from 320-pound D-linemen, throwing the ball 60 yards down the field. It’s unlike anything Kansas football has seen before.
