2. Jalil Bethea

Bethea is one of the most complete guards in his class. He can score at all three levels efficiently and is particularly polished on the offensive end. In my opinion, he’s the best scorer in the Class of 2024.

I recently tabbed Bethea as the most likely player to commit to Kansas next. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the likelihood of him becoming a Jayhawk is extremely high following his successful visit to Lawrence last weekend. Insiders on the situation believe things went well, and his time with Bill Self was ‘honest.’

If Kansas can form a guard-center duo of Jalil Bethea and Flory Bidunga, it would instantly become one of the most electric recruiting classes the program has put together. But ultimately, KU is a program that shoots for the stars, and no player is being prioritized more by the Jayhawks than this generational prospect on the next slide.
