1. Kansas football forces multiple turnovers

With a quarterback set to start just his second career game in Luke Altmyer, mistakes are bound to be made by the Ole Miss transfer. Even against a soft Jayhawk secondary, I expect him to make a few more blunders this week.

Cobee Bryant can get a bit too overzealous at times, but he has big-play ability. If Altmyer makes an errant throw, you best believe he will be the first player to jump on the ball.

Illinois played a sloppy game against Toledo because of mental errors. Altmyer threw a ball into double coverage, which resulted in a pick. In a game where the stakes are much higher, more pressure will be placed on the Illini’s signal caller.

The Kansas defense recorded two interceptions last week, but they were both in the fourth quarter. Let’s hope they can force a turnover early in the game to set the tone.
