Kansas State Wildcats — 45-0 Win vs Southeast Missouri State

The reigning Big 12 title game winners got their season off to a hot start on Saturday. Although they led just 7-0 after the first quarter, they quickly put the hammer down before halftime. Three Will Howard touchdowns and a Treshaun Ward score put the Wildcats up 35-0 at halftime. Howard led a field goal drive to open the second half before being relieved by Avery Johnson, who led the final scoring drive of the game. Howard finished the day with 297 passing yards, with a pair of touchdowns (plus a rushing touchdown) and an interception. DJ Giddens ran for 128 yards, while RJ Garcia and Ben Sinnott both eclipsed 100 receiving yards.

They host Troy next Saturday.
