Kansas Jayhawks — 48-17 Win vs Missouri State

The Kansas Jayhawks have arguably the highest expectations that they have ever had coming into a football season. After a relatively slow start, they lived up to those expectations on Friday night. The conference’s preseason offensive player of the year, Jalon Daniels, was out with back tightness, but that didn’t stop Kansas’ offense from getting virtually whatever it wanted for most of the night. Jason Bean threw just six incompletions on the night while collecting 317 total yards and a pair of touchdowns. The run game was as dominant as expected, averaging nearly 6.5 yards per carry and allowing all four running backs to find the endzone. A pair of interceptions in a three-play span for the Bears allowed the Jayhawks to put the final nail in the coffin.

They host Illinois next Friday night.
