We evaluated how each Big 12 football team performed during college football Week 1.

After 80 percent of the conference made a bowl game in 2022, including an appearance in the National Championship game, the Big 12 has high hopes for 2023.

Four teams were included in the preseason Top 25 ranking, with three others receiving votes. The opening week of the season has already come and gone for the conference, and it was a roller coaster of successes and failures.
