1. UConn at Kansas basketball (Dec. 1, Big East/Big 12 Battle)

The mere fact that we get to see a Jayhawk-Husky battle in the Fieldhouse brings a smile to my face.

UConn cut down the nets in 2023 after Kansas did so a year prior. The reigning NCAA champions face off in Lawrence for just the fourth meeting all-time between the two programs.

Like Indiana, UConn surrendered a pair of vital pieces from the team in Adama Sanogo and Jordan Hawkins. However, they still project to be a top-five team in 2023-24, returning Tristen Newton and bringing in an elite recruiting class. This game figures to be the best in the nonconference regular season slate for Kansas basketball.
