3. Kansas basketball vs. Kentucky (Nov. 14, Champions Classic)

The Champions Classic never means much down the stretch. It’s always the first real game of the season for each team, and players are more or less just looking to get acclimated. Still, watching two blue blood programs squaring off will never get old.

Kentucky will be led by Antonio Reeves and highly touted recruit DJ Wagner following the departure of Oscar Tshiebwe this offseason. They’ll look to improve on a disappointing 22-12 season against the likely preseason No. 1 school.

John Calipari’s ‘Cats have been in some trouble lately, and they will have not made it past the second round of the NCAA Tournament in five years when the 2024 tourney approaches. If Kansas can mesh early, they could put away UK fairly easily.
