Northern Iowa Panthers at Iowa State Cyclones

Xavier Hutchinson and Will McDonald IV are gone, while quarterback Hunter Dekkers and up to four other starters are being held out amid a gambling investigation. Even then, the Iowa State defense is still going to be extremely good this season. While the team will struggle in conference play, I’ll pick the Cyclones to come out on top for this in-state matchup.
