West Virginia Mountaineers at Penn State Nittany Lions

Saturday, 6:30 p.m. CT, NBC

West Virginia already has low expectations after posting less than six wins for the second time in the past decade. Things don’t seem to be coming together for Neal Brown’s group just yet, and the offense has faltered for consecutive seasons. We’ll give them some leeway because it is the first game of the year, but Penn State is a College Football Playoff contender and should not have any problem putting the Mountaineers away.

Final Score Prediction: 40-18, Penn State
