No. 2: Which veterans step up to the plate

Being that Kansas football has one of the most experienced rosters in the nation, one might question which of the team’s veterans will step up. We’ve seen it done with Rich Miller and Kenny Logan Jr., but there are several gaps defensively with unknowns surrounding the position. Guys like Craig Young, Taiwan Berryhill, Mello Dotson, and OJ Burroughs have the opportunity to become bigger leaders.

Several key Jayhawks will graduate after this season, so each game is vital to building team chemistry. It all begins this week.
