We ranked what we believe to be the five best Big 12 football players prior to the start of the regular season.

The new-look Big 12 should be one of the most competitive conferences in college football. Texas and Oklahoma are looking to bounce back following disappointing 2022 campaigns, while Kansas State, TCU, and others hope to trend in the right direction.

While not many schools can compete with the Alabama’s and Georgia’s of the world recruiting-wise, the Big 12 produces some of the nation’s best talent year in and out. It could produce multiple All-Americans this year.

Several players in consideration were not able to crack our list, but we ranked the five best Big 12 football players heading into 2023.
